Create an Outlook Rule on a Message
Using rules to automatically forward messages in Microsoft Outlook can help you manage your emails more efficiently. By setting up these rules, you can ensure important messages are sent to another account without manual intervention, keeping your inbox organised and ensuring you never miss critical communications.
Forwarding Messages
1. Go to Settings > Mail > Rules.
2. Click Add a new rule and name it.
3. Set the condition to Apply to all messages.
4. Choose Forward to or Forward as an attachment and enter the forwarding email address.
5. Optionally, add more actions or exceptions.
6. Click Save.
Redirecting Messages
1. Go to Settings > Mail > Rules.
2. Click Add new rule and name it.
3. Set the condition to Apply to all messages.
4. Choose Redirect to and enter the redirecting email address.
5. Optionally, add more actions or exceptions.
6. Click Save.
Forwarded messages appear to come from you, while redirected messages appear to come from the original sender.
